Trust Board Update

Claire Singleton steps down from the Trust Board
On behalf of the entire Trust community, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Claire Singleton for her exceptional dedication, service, and leadership throughout her many years of involvement with our schools. We have been particularly fortunate that Claire chose to continue supporting education following her retirement in 2015 through extensive voluntary service. Her longstanding governance role at Coopers, followed by her contribution to Mead Road Infant School, has had a meaningful and lasting impact.
As a Trustee, she brought not only deep knowledge but also calm judgment, integrity, and a sincere desire to improve outcomes for every child. Beyond her professional and governance achievements, Claire brings a wonderful sense of balance and humanity to all she does. Whether singing in a local choir, enjoying long walks, or spending cherished time with her grandchildren, she reminds us of the values of joy, community, and family - values reflected in the thoughtful way she has supported our schools. We are immensely grateful for the time, wisdom, and care she has invested in our pupils, staff, and families. Claire’s contribution has strengthened our community and helped shape the future of our schools for the better.
We are also pleased to report that Claire’s involvement with Orion Education will continue for some time, as she will shortly become a Member, which is the highest tier in our governance structure. Thank you, Claire, for your unwavering commitment and service.
