Orion Education Announces New Trustees to the Board

 

 

Orion Education is delighted to confirm the appointment of three new Trustees to its Board, further strengthening the organisation's governance, expertise, and strategic leadership as it continues to deliver its mission and support the communities it serves.

 

 

KEVIN BLAKEY is an accomplished educational leader with more than two decades of senior leadership experience across schools, multi-academy trusts and the wider education system.

 

Since beginning a senior leadership career Kevin has held four substantive headships, including an Executive Headship, and has served twice as a Director of Education.

 

Throughout his career he has demonstrated a strong commitment to improving outcomes for young people, particularly in disadvantaged and coastal communities.

 

 

 

 

PETER GREGORY is a highly experienced Chief People Officer and HR Director with a career spanning almost 50 years, including extensive experience operating at executive level across complex organisations in the public and private sectors.

 

He brings deep expertise across people strategy, organisational development, workforce planning, leadership development, employee relations and large-scale transformation, and has led complex change programmes in highly scrutinised environments.

 

 

 

 

 

AYSHA HAYNES is currently Co-CEO at Flock Associates, a global consulting firm working with clients including McDonald’s, Aldi, Meta, NatWest and Ford. 

 

Her expertise sits in organisational strategy, people and culture, and transformation, with a strong grounding in HR and organisational development.

 

She also represents on boards and sector taskforces, particularly in relation to equity, diversity and inclusion, and has experience contributing at a strategic, non-operational level.
