We are delighted to announce that Ricky Archer has been appointed as the new Principal of Orion Spires, joining the school in September 2026. 

Ricky joins us from Dartford Science and Technology College, bringing significant senior leadership experience and a strong track record in school improvement. He is a values-driven leader, committed to high expectations, strong relationships and ensuring every student achieves their very best. 

In his previous role, he has led whole-school improvement and supported the development of high-quality teaching and learning, helping to create a culture where both staff and students thrive. 

Speaking about his appointment, Ricky said:

“Education is the ultimate vehicle that can change lives… when a supportive community and powerful education come together there is nothing our young people cannot achieve.” 

Until September, Lee Moors will continue as Interim Principal, ensuring a smooth transition for the school community.
