Orion Education's family of schools, is currently seeking new members to join its Local Advisory Bodies.

As a governor, you will play an important role in supporting the school's continued success and helping to deliver Orion Education's vision of providing high-quality education and opportunities for every child. Working alongside school leaders, fellow governors and the Trust, you will provide both support and constructive challenge to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

The Local Advisory Body has a key role in helping the school achieve its priorities through strategic oversight of areas including:

• Pupil progress, attainment and wellbeing
• Safeguarding and pupil welfare
• Staff workload, wellbeing and development
• Community and stakeholder engagement
• Delivery of Orion Education's strategic objectives at school level

Governors bring a wide range of skills, experiences and perspectives, and no previous governance experience is required. Training and ongoing support will be provided through Orion Education.
